Still high on colour, I finally got to wear two pieces I've been struggling to find the confidence to wear. One - the green top, it sort of made me feel swallowed, like I'm too bony for it. Two - the feathers, just thought - "dramatic".
So when I finally got the 'kraag' to rock them, I was so proud of myself.
As I walked into one of the lifts at work, some lady I do not know said to me, "I don't like that top on you...", I laughed, thinking we are joking, but NO - straight face and all....Kinda confirmed what I'd been seeing in the mirror, but that didn't dampen the mood :-)
